About DemoSite3
An independent digital magazine for curious readers who want context, not noise.
DemoSite3 was founded in 2021 by a small group of editors and reporters who believed online news had become too fast, too loud and too shallow. We set out to build a publication that explains the forces shaping everyday life — from global supply chains and new technology to the cars we drive and the products we buy — in clear, carefully sourced English.
Today DemoSite3 is published by DemoSite3 Media LLC, headquartered in San Francisco, with contributors in London, Seattle, Toronto, Sydney, Madrid and beyond. Our readers are primarily in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, but our audience spans more than 150 countries.
Our mission
We want every reader to leave an article knowing something useful they did not know before. That means favouring explanation over outrage, evidence over speculation and practical guidance over clickbait. When we publish a buying guide, we explain our criteria. When we analyse a trend, we show where the data comes from.
